After
the War, Grandpa was appointed an official in Beiping(Beijing) Government.
From 1946 and 1948, the family spent the happiest time in the historic
city. Most photos of outgoing and family life were taken then. This one
was taken in the Summer Palace(Yi-He-Yuan), together with Grandma's brother.
At
the year 1948, the family welcomed a fourth member -- their first son,
who was born in Xiehe Hospital and later grew into the leading person of
the big family. |
